Big Walk Devs Say The Game Won’t Come To Xbox In Accordance With The BDS Boycott - Kotaku

Big Walk, House House’s cooperative puzzler that relies heavily on proximity chat and letting players just kinda wander around an island and figure it all out without much guidance, is one of the best games of the year. However, it skipped Xbox when it launched in August, and while that isn’t that uncommon these days, anyone who plays games primarily on Microsoft’s system is probably wondering if the game will ever come to Xbox Series X/S. House House has now put out a statement about why it chose to skip over the system, and has said flatly it is due to the ongoing BDS boycott protesting Microsoft’s complicity in Israel’s ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people.  The statement, which was posted on the company’s social media channels and the official Big Walk website, includes resources for those who are unaware of the BDS movement to read or watch, including the protest’s own website outlining how Microsoft tech has allegedly been used by Israeli military in surveillance of the Palestinian people, and its goals in urging people to boycott the company’s products, including Xbox.

Sony Reminds PlayStation Plus Subscribers That GTA 5 Leaves the Library 2 Days Before GTA 6 Comes Out - IGN

PS5 and PS4 players taking advantage of PS Plus to play GTA 5 and GTA Online better get their hours in because their days are numbered. GTA 5 is being removed from the PS Plus catalogue just two days before GTA 6’s launch in November. GTA 5 has sold an eye-watering 230 million copies since its 2013 launch, so you'd imagine most who are interested in experiencing Rockstar’s sweeping and beautiful take on Los Angeles have already done so. But if you’re one of the few who hasn't, you have until November 17 to get it done via PS Plus. Sony has been warning PS5 players about the change. “If you’re counting down the days until GTA 6 arrives on PS5 on November 19, why not take a trip to Los Santos in the meantime?” the message said. “GTA 5 is available to play in the Game Catalog for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members, but only until November 17. So whether you’ve yet to experience the tale of Franklin, Michael, and Trevor, or want to revisit it before Jason and Lucia’s Vice City story begins, now’s the time.” The popup was followed by a prompt to preorder GTA 6.

HP EliteBoard G1a Next Gen AI PC: The Best Inventions of 2026 - Time Magazine

Post-pandemic, many companies have eschewed assigned cubicles for “hot-desking.” Stacy Wolff, Senior VP of Design & Sustainability at HP, says the practice can make workers feel like middle school students: “From class to class, you have to bring everything with you. And by God, you better have a No. 2 pencil.” The new HP Eliteboard G1a Next Gen AI PC is designed to lessen that load. Like the Commodore 64 or Apple IIe of yore, the EliteBoard is a full computer built into a keyboard. But the latter features a full sized numeric keypad and weighs less than two pounds, considerably lighter than most laptops. John Ternus Is Engineering a New Era for Apple: The Best Inventions of 2026 - Time Magazine

Just below the broad smile he’s been wearing all morning, John Ternus’ hands are shaking. On this September day in Silicon Valley, Apple’s new CEO is surrounded by celebrities, tech enthusiasts, and reporters who have flocked to Apple Park from around the world to catch a glimpse of the company’s new and long-awaited foldable phone, the Duo. After Ternus takes a few photos with the device, an Apple PR rep pulls the influencer known as IShowSpeed out of the crowd to meet him. Winning over the 21-year-old isn’t exactly the toughest assignment Ternus has faced in his 25-year Apple career: Speed barks when he sees the phone and then gleefully springs into a backflip. But IShowSpeed also happens to be livestreaming the encounter to his 61 million subscribers on YouTube. And as Ternus thumbs through the $1,999-and-up phone, attempting to drag a photo into a text-message box, eagle-eyed viewers notice his hands quivering. Ternus later explains that he didn’t sleep much the night before. “I was on such a moment of adrenaline and caffeine and excitement for the day,” he tells TIME. Ternus, who took over as CEO on Sept.
