Our class deep dive series continues with developer insights into two more classes coming in World of Warcraft: Forever. This time, we’re focusing on Mages and Shaman, with an early look at how each class is being updated while holding on to the core tools and playstyles that define them.
For Mages, the update leans into the fantasy of choosing the right spell for the moment—whether that means layering control through Frost, building toward heavy Fire critical strikes, or using Arcane power to amplify the rest of the toolkit. New and revised talents give each school a stronger identity while also creating more room for cross-school builds that mix familiar strengths in new ways.

World of Warcraft: Forever Class Deep Dives — Hunter and Druid - Blizzard News
Every class in World of Warcraft: Forever is being revisited with an approach rooted in the original World of Warcraft: keeping the foundation players remember while making thoughtful updates that open up more choice, identity, and room to experiment. To help bring that work into focus, we’re kicking off our class deep dives with Development Team insights on Hunter and Druid, including how their updates come together through combat, talents, and class-defining abilities. Talent trees follow that same direction. Starting at level 10, talents become available and keep the familiar structure, including the same number of rows and one-point milestone talents at 11, 21, and 31 points, now joined by a new 16-point milestone. Some talents remain exactly as they were in patch 1.12 (from original World of Warcraft), while others have been adjusted or improved, and several key class buffs that once came from talents, such as Blessing of Kings and Improved Mark of the Wild, are now baseline for their classes.

Israeli settlers attack European diplomats during West Bank olive harvest - Al Jazeera
Israeli settlers have attacked European diplomats, including a French mayor, near the Palestinian village of Taybeh in the occupied West Bank. The delegation was visiting Palestinian olive harvesters on Saturday when the Israeli attackers confronted the group. The attack comes a day after settlers assaulted a US journalist north of Ramallah. In Saturday’s incident, the settlers targeted Belgium’s consul general, French and Polish diplomats and Catholic representatives, Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot said. “A French mayor was assaulted and a Belgian vehicle damaged,” Prevot said, linking the attack to what he called Israel’s “illegal settlement policy” and pledging to push for further European Union sanctions. French mayor Bernard Baudoux, who was assaulted, told the AFP news agency that the violence suggests that “there is a tolerance on the part of the Israeli government” towards settler violence. Al Jazeera’s Nour Odeh, reporting from Ramallah, said the settlers surrounded the diplomats’ vehicles, pelted them with stones and smashed their windows.
