World of Warcraft: Forever Class Deep Dives — Hunter and Druid - Blizzard News

Our class deep dive series concludes with developer insights into Paladins in World of Warcraft: Forever. In this final installment, we’re looking at how the class is evolving through updates that build on its defining strengths: wielding Holy power, supporting allies, and standing firm against powerful foes. Paladins remain rooted in their unique Seal and Judgement system, with new abilities and revised talents creating more room to shape how each specialization plays. Holy gains new tools for single-target healing, group support, and spell-focused damage; Protection receives stronger threat, mana, and survival options; and Retribution gains new ways to sustain Judgements, blend weapon attacks with Holy damage, and pursue a more approachable form of Seal Twisting.

Masters of subtlety and destructive power take center stage in this World of Warcraft: Forever class deep dive. Discover how Rogues and Warlocks are evolving through updates that build on the defining tools, tactics, and playstyles of each class. For Rogues, the update builds on their mastery of Stealth, control, Poisons, and precise weapon attacks. Poisons gain more charges and can be used alongside temporary weapon enchantments, while updates across Assassination, Combat, and Subtlety create stronger options for daggers, other weapon types, Finishing Moves, Bleeds, and combat tricks.

Our class deep dive series continues with developer insights into two more classes coming in World of Warcraft: Forever. This time, we’re focusing on Mages and Shaman, with an early look at how each class is being updated while holding on to the core tools and playstyles that define them. For Mages, the update leans into the fantasy of choosing the right spell for the moment—whether that means layering control through Frost, building toward heavy Fire critical strikes, or using Arcane power to amplify the rest of the toolkit. New and revised talents give each school a stronger identity while also creating more room for cross-school builds that mix familiar strengths in new ways.
