Prisco's NFL Week 5 Power Rankings: Chargers and Texans a disaster, Browns climb up nine spots - CBS Sports
Pete Prisco shares his latest Power Rankings for the 2026 NFL season, including some big climbs up the board for some of last week's top teams Our social team at CBS Sports HQ did a video this week asking this question:Who's the biggest disappointment, the Los Angeles Chargers or the Houston Texans? Both teams are 0-4 and look like teams that will be watching come playoff time. Before the season, the Texans were a trendy pick to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl, while many thought the Chargers would be livened up by having Mike McDaniel as their new offensive coordinator. Instead, the first four weeks have been disasters for both teams. At 0-4, they have big problems. The Chargers' offensive issues are a concern. The Texans' supposedly dominant defense hasn't been great either. They were being compared to the 1985 Chicago Bears defense before the season, and yet the Dallas Cowboys gutted them in their victory Sunday.

Prisco's Week 4 NFL picks: Eagles upset Rams, Texans over Cowboys, more expert picks - CBS Sports
Pete Prisco reveals all of his Week 4 picks, including the Browns upsetting the Steelers and the 49ers over the Broncos See ya, September. Gladly. With this week's NFL games, the first of October, it's time to put the stink of my picks in September away. It wasn't great. I went 8-8 straight up last week and 6-9-1 against the spread. That brings my straight-up record to 29-19 for the season. My ATS mark is a dismal 21-26-1. Let's just say I am happy October is here. The first two weeks of October are when we start getting a true gauge on the NFL teams. We find out who is a contender or pretender. That makes it a little easier to pick games. I hope anyway. The goal now is to get over .500 ATS. Then it's time to act like a contender. Let's go. Then Colts defense showed improvement last week, while the Commanders defense made some big plays. Look for the Colts and Commanders to both score a lot, but it's the Colts who will win it late.

NFL Week 4 picks and score predictions: Texans get first win, Bengals edge Jaguars - CBS Sports
I'm not saying the NFL should cancel Week 4, but Roger Goodell might at least want to think about postponing it a few days so we all have time to recover from the craziness of Week 3. There were 12 games decided by one score, which was tied for the most of any week ever in NFL history. There were some highs in Week 3, there were some lows, and then there was whatever the Packers did in that Thursday night game against the Falcons. I would say it was the worst performance of the week, but then the Eagles showed up on Monday night and got torched by a third-string quarterback in Case Keenum. In related news, Case Keenum now has more TD passes (2) on the year than Drake Maye. If you didn't know that Keenum was still in the NFL, don't worry, I think that describes almost everyone. Speaking of everyone, I would now like to share my picks with everyone, so let's get to them. Actually, before we get to the picks, here's a quick reminder that you can check out the weekly picks from every CBSSports.com NFL expert by clicking here, but you were probably already well aware of that since I mention it every week. One thing that I don't mention every week is that I also write an NFL
