These tablets are the last ones released before Samsung's more generous support policy.

Back in the TouchWiz era, Samsung's reputation for timely software updates wasn't exactly the best. It's thus great to see how far the brand has come in delivering faster updates and providing longer software support for its devices. Samsung is now one of the few Android manufacturers that offers a generously long software support policy, with its recent Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra benefiting from seven years of OS and security updates. Not every tablet Samsung has sold in previous years enjoys that kind of longevity, though.

Trak Racer enters budget sim wheel market with Fanatec-based equipment - Traxion.GG

Trak Racer has announced its intention to enter the sim racing wheel and pedal market in 2027, with a Fanatec-based entry-level bundle. While it is not named or priced yet, expect 3Nm of force from a direct drive wheel base, a round wheel and a simple non-load-cell two-pedal set. The Australian brand was recently purchased by Corsair, the same American tech company that purchased Fanatec in 2024. In recent years, it has developed its own range of sim racing electronics, including wheel bases. These were predominantly in the upper echelons of the market, with one claiming to output 30Nm of torque, although they seemingly never went beyond the prototype stage. With Corsair owning both Trak Racer and Fanatec, it was assumed the former would focus on cockpits and seats, with the latter on wheels, pedals and electronic accessories.
