Description
Go behind the scenes with Objects Conservator Esther Chao as she monitors the colors of Yee I-Lann's TIKAR/MEJA series. Using a color spectrophotometer, she measures the printed colors to establish a baseline and track any natural changes that may occur while the works are on view. This careful monitoring helps our conservators better understand how light and time affect the color of the artwork throughout the exhibition. See this work on view in "Guggenheim Pop: 1960 to Now."
