“Taryn Simon | Father Country I Do Love You” at the Guggenheim New York

Description

Ten years in the making, “Taryn Simon | Father Country I Do Love You” is Simon’s largest and most personal project to date. The exhibition is dedicated to Simon’s father, whose life shadows the entire project. Unfolding across forty-two chapters, this exhibition shines a shaky spotlight on the unseen ways our lives touch one another in an immersive exhibition of photography, video and sculpture. Step into Taryn Simon’s labyrinth of stories. “Taryn Simon | Father Country I Do Love You” is on view September 18, 2026–March 14, 2027 at the Guggenheim New York.
