Description

The Trump administration warned it could cut off intelligence-sharing with Ukraine unless Ukrainian forces stop long-range drone strikes on oil refineries inside Russia, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told NPR. Last year, the Trump administration paused intelligence-sharing with Ukraine amid tensions with Zelenskyy. The White House did not comment on whether the administration has threatened to do so again, instead referring NPR to comments Trump made Tuesday. "We are helping them and we are sharing intel, we want the war to end. So, we're working with them and with Russia on getting the war to end," Trump told reporters. Later, Zelenskyy described a new Russian attack on the Ukrainian capital. "A Russian ballistic missile attack on Kyiv. Once again, no early warning from our partners," he wrote on social media. He said the target was a power plant, and added, "It is important that the United States really see what is happening and who is responsible for this war continuing."
