Description

Many of life’s molecules have a mirror image: a reflected twin with a totally different behaviour. But nature seems to have a preference, only using one of these twins. The reason why has been a mystery for over a century. This year’s Nobel Prize in Chemistry went to two scientists who have laid the groundwork for furthering our understanding of how this works. - Written, Presented, & Produced by Maren Hunsberger - Stock Images: Getty Images / TimoninaIryna / DKN0049 and Canva Pro - Stock Music: Adobe Stock - Sounds Effects: Triple Scoop - Portrait of Kagan courtesy of Académie des sciences - Portrait of Soai Andrew Caballero-Reynolds/AFP via Getty - Supervising Producer: Shamini Bundell - With special thanks to Anne Marie Conlon
