4-H Rooted Gala Entertainment Named - Your South Shore

For those of you that have been waiting to hear who will be entertaining at this year’s Rooted Gala before buying your ticket, this great event did not disappoint. I am always impressed when I think about how many talented individuals have come up through the 4-H program. Last year Gord Bamford was the entertainment for this huge fundraiser, a former 4-Her from the west. It was so great to be at the Rooted Gala event. Aside from the fantastic meal and good conversation with those attending and organizing this 4-H community event, the performance by a country superstar was just the icing on top of the evening. This year the entertainer comes from just up the road. The Rooted Gala entertainment for this year’s event is ECMA artist, singer songwriter and former Cape Breton 4-H member Jimmy Rankin! Now Jimmy is not the only star of this event. The Rooted Gala is centered around two things. This event is an important fundraiser for an incredible youth organization AND features a delicious meal created by culinary elite.

Your Daily Horoscope by Madame Clairevoyant: October 15, 2026 - The Cut

She has written weekly horoscopes for more than ten years and is the author of 'Madame Clairevoyant’s Guide to the Stars.' The sun and Jupiter (in Libra and Leo, respectively) team up to make this an unusually lucky day — but it’s up to you to make the most of it. If you sit around waiting for good things to happen, you’re likely to be disappointed, but if you make a point of being an active participant in your own life, you’ll be rewarded. It’s an ideal time to reach out to people, to make plans for the future, and to ask for what you want. If you move through the world with confidence and optimism, you might be surprised by how often things go your way.

Love Is Blind Season 11: Jax Reveals Why She Ghosted Stew After ‘Awkward’ Reveal - Netflix

SPOILER ALERTThis article contains major character or plot details. “I should go home,” Jax says after laying eyes on her fiancé, Stew, for the first time in Love Is Blind Season 11. And, so she does, cutting short — at least for now — a connection built on a shared Phantom of the Opera obsession, dreams of becoming one of the “most stylish couples in the Hamptons,” and speculation about whether Stew looks more like a Kennedy or a Romney. When Jax found herself all in on Stew, she was more surprised than anyone. “I’m very closed off with dating,” she tells Tudum. “But I stopped ranking people by day two or three, and only put down his name. I was like, ‘I’m going all in on this guy, and if it’s not him, I’m out, because there’s nothing else for me here.’”Stew was simply looking for “someone who was easy to talk to” — and if that led to a happily ever after, all the better. “I found that in Jax,” he tells Tudum. “We weren’t forcing things. Every time I walked into the pods I could relax. It felt effortless and fun.’”So why, then, did Jax walk away as quickly as she’d built that bond with Stew? And how did he feel about her ghosting him?
