âWarâ: Sienna Miller and Dominic West Tear Up the Prenup in HBOâs Juicy Divorce Drama - Entertainment Voice
HBO anthology series âWarâ provides deep disclosure about high-profile divorces. Created by George Kay, this legal drama is set in modern-day London, where the fortunes and toxins of celebrity and technology are judged the same as everywhere else: in favor of the legal teams. Everything works on their schedule, and itâs rare if the outcome is determined by the client. After 10 years of marriage, well-known but fading film star Carla Duval (Sienna Miller) is divorcing her husband, Morgan Henderson (Dominic West), a former financial wizard who is now a rising tech mogul. The divorce appears to come from infidelity, but even that has a backstory and a sideways turn which puts it on a backburner. The couple came into the marriage with a prenup, and while Carla was the bigger earner earlier in the marriage, Morgan built a billion-dollar empire. His initial claim to fame was a new kind of social-media platform, Zephyr, which discouraged negative chatter. The platform blew up. The problem is, the original idea may have come from Carla. Morgan does call her his âmuseâ in countless interviews.

James Cameron congratulates Avengers: Endgame's box office success with bonkers image - A.V. Club
Marvel Studiosâ release of Avengers: Endgame: Encore was a shrewd gambit for a few reasons: It put the studioâs most successful film back in conversation right after the juggernaut success of Spider-Man: Brand New Day; it tided die-hards over with new footage ahead of Decemberâs Avengers: Doomsday; and, perhaps most importantly, it raked in an additional $138 million for the film, reinstating its position as the worldwide box office champion over James Cameronâs Avatar. Cameron, who certainly doesnât spend his precious time fretting about such matters as lifetime financial grosses and being the best in the world at stuff, recently expressed his congratulations to Marvel for once again overtaking his 2009 sci-fi film. âYou are one of the people,â the director wrote (per The Wrap) in a composite image from Avatar, with Iron Man at the center of a welcoming Naâvi tribe. âCongratulations to Marvel and the #1 Avengers: Endgame: Encore for bringing moviegoers to the cinemas! â Jim Cameron.â

TikTok âPermanently Bansâ the âMuskâ Film Account, Raising Suppression Fears (Exclusive) - The Hollywood Reporter
TikTok has banned the entire Musk film account, citing political content that violates its policies. The move, which comes just as the Alex Gibneyâs investigation into Elon Musk expands to more than 470 screens across North America, raises concerns about Big Tech suppression that the very film seeks to expose. Distributor Bleecker Street was informed Friday afternoon a âpermanent suspensionâ was coming. The entire page disappeared from TikTokâs platform shortly after. The film company had been planning to spend ad money to boost certain posts; that will no longer happen. A spokesperson for the distributor confirmed that TikTok reps had informed them of the suspension and noted âdisappointmentâ in the timing. After grossing $70,000 in four theaters in New York and Los Angeles in its first weekend of release, Musk is now playing in dozens of cities this weekend. The spokesperson said the company is in the process of appealing the move; even a reversal, however, could still prove costly if it doesnât come during a weekend window when many people are likely to see the film.
