Luxshare Faces U.S. ITC Patent Probe on Data Center Power Technology - The Globe and Mail
Luxshare Precision Industry Co., Ltd. Class H ( (HK:2475) ) just unveiled an update. Luxshare Precision has disclosed that it and its controlled subsidiary Dongguan Luxshare Technologies are respondents in a newly initiated Section 337 investigation by the U. S. International Trade Commission, following patent infringement allegations from Vicor Corporation over a U. S. patent covering vertical power delivery systems for computing and data center applications. The investigation targets products used in integrated power supply solutions between power modules and processors, but Luxshare says these products remain in customer validation and not mass production, and it currently expects no material adverse impact on its ongoing operations or near-term financial results. In response, the company has begun a detailed review of the relevant patent and affected products and is mobilizing its technical, legal and business teams to craft defense and response strategies, drawing on experience from similar past cases.
