THE BC Conservatives said on Thursday that NDP candidate for Richmond-Bridgeport, Linda Li, was fined $8500 by the BC Financial Services Authority after the Superintendent of Real Estate found she failed to manage a conflict of interest, knowingly tried to conceal information, and misled investigators by submitting backdated documents. David Eby must remove her as a candidate today, they demanded. The BC Conservatives said that in a June 30, 2026 ruling, the Superintendent of Real Estate found that Li had failed to comply with her professional obligations as a real estate managing broker. More troublingly, when regulators investigated her conduct, Li provided incomplete and misleading information and submitted documents that had been backdated by approximately one year.
