Seahawks' Jaxon Smith-Njigba falls in latest CBS Sports MVP rankings - AOL.ca

Matt Legros, Seahawks Wiresam. 10 octobre 2026 à 9 h 27 p.m. UTCSeattle Seahawks star Jaxon Smith-Njigba has had a brilliant start to the 2026 season so far, but a quieter performance by his standards in Week 4 may have impacted his standing in the MVP race. CBS Sports ranked Smith-Njigba No. 8 overall in their latest MVP rankings and highlighted his historic pace as reason for him being in the top 10 through the early part of the year. “Like any non-quarterback, Smith-Njigba has little margin for error if he wants to be the first receiver to win league MVP,” CBS Sports’ Bryan DeArdo said. “That's the main reason why he fell five spots in this week's standings... Smith-Njigba fell from first to third in the NFL in receiving yards this week, but he is still leading the league in touchdown catches and remains on pace to break Calvin Johnson's single-season record.”Smith-Njigba has recorded 481 receiving yards and six REC touchdowns thus far this season. He has led the Seahawks to a 3-1 record on the year, including big wins over the New England Patriots in Week 1 and the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4.

Dave Richard's Week 5 Trade Chart and rest of season rankings: Jaxon Smith-Njigba takes over No. 1 WR spot - CBS Sports

Why wait to win? Use the trade chart to make post-draft deals and improve your team with assigned values to help you navigate your league's trade market. With so much happening across the league, the time has come to consider making a trade to help your team. It might be your only pathway to getting some wins.   More than fifteen seasons ago, the Fantasy Football Trade Chart was created by CBS Sports with the sole purpose of helping managers make fair trades in their leagues. And since then, the Trade Chart has expanded to include four-point-per-pass touchdown leagues and half-PPR leagues.  Now, no one has to be scared to make a trade anymore.   The points assigned to players below reflect a long-term measurement of their Fantasy value, which is determined by expected future performance, future schedules and (perhaps most importantly) public sentiment. Past performance is not a major factor in the Fantasy Football Trade Chart.
