The Connor McDavid show, Devon Levi was sensational, and the Oilers win ugly in L. A. The Edmonton Oilers were in Los Angeles on Tuesday and looking to sweep their California road trip after locking in wins in Anaheim and San Jose. And while the 4-1 win over the Kings wasn’t nearly as surgical as we saw in from the Oilers in their first two stops on this trip, sometimes having Connor McDavid and Devon Levi standing on his head is all you need. Pretty? No. Effective? Absolutely.800 GAMES FOR CONNOR McDAVIDDid anybody else feel old when they saw/read that Tuesday’s game was Connor McDavid’s 800th in his NHL career? It seems like only yesterday when Bill Daly was flipping the golden ticket and every other fanbase was instantly mad at us. My Gord, where has the time gone? On a milestone night like 800 games, it’s hard not to think about the good times and near misses we’ve had with Connor as our captain.
