Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) has named the Canadian team set to compete at the World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals from October 18-21 in Qingdao, People’s Republic of China. The event will take place on Golden Beach in Qingdao West Coast New Area, one of Asia’s most celebrated coastal destinations. Israeli settlers have attacked European diplomats, including a French mayor, near the Palestinian village of Taybeh in the occupied West Bank. The delegation was visiting Palestinian olive harvesters on Saturday when the Israeli attackers confronted the group. The attack comes a day after settlers assaulted a US journalist north of Ramallah.
