Pokémon is releasing its first feature-length movie in 7 years, it’s all about the TCG - Lifestyle Asia Hong Kong

Back in August we saw DeNA, the developer behind Pokémon TCG Pocket, share their Q1 financial results, which showed a considerable drop in both revenue and profit. The studio said this was due to declines in Pokémon TCG Pocket, where monthly active users dropped from 39 million this time last year to 23 million in Q1 2026/2027. Of course, DeNA said they were working to get Pokémon TCG Pocket back on track. The developer stated that they had multiple irons in the fire, and that included rolling out various events and promotions while also getting players to log in more while retaining their interest and activity over a longer period of time. Today, we’ve finally gotten more insight into their plans.
