Parents fight disciplinary process after Kamloops teen barred from high school sports - Castanet Kamloops

Super Smash Bros. Melee pro Jason Zimmerman, better known as “Mew2King,” was scheduled to appear at Austin’s Xtreme Fighters Showdown this weekend. That was until yesterday, when event staff decided to bar Zimmerman from appearing at the last minute. The decision came following concern over a viral post from the player. Asking fans about sores along his arms and legs, other attendees were growing antsy that Zimmerman would spread bed bugs through the competition. “For the safety of our event, XFS 2026, we have politely informed Mew2King,” posted event staff, “he will not [be] able to participate or attend our event this weekend due to a self-reported health concern.” In a now deleted post, Zimmerman asked the public to help clear up a health anxiety on Thursday. Riddled with swollen red marks, he was convinced he had been bitten by fleas off a house mate’s cat, though others suggested the bites originated from a bed bug infestation. Made a post about my thoughts on things. Ngl im turning off replies cuz of the types of mean msgs many ppl sent me that i dont want to see or deal with. I wont be streaming or around for a while (maybe weeks idk).

Three water companies are seeking to impose severe restrictions on businesses as the drought continues across most of England, putting rivers and wildlife under huge pressure. Golf clubs and private schools could be barred from using mains water to irrigate playing fields and courses, and commercial car washes stopped from operating, under “non-essential use bans” being sought by the companies. Eleven areas of England are still in drought, rivers are suffering from low flows, groundwater levels are declining and reservoir levels are at 54% – 21% below what is expected in the autumn. Yorkshire was the latest area to move into drought status on 9 October. Parts of Wales are experiencing the first signs of drought recovery after the whole country was declared in drought in July. An illustration showing areas of England in droughtNineteen reservoirs or reservoir groups in England and Wales are less than 50% full, and eight are exceptionally low, up from five in August. The Met Office says above-average rainfall is needed over a sustained seven-month period to bring all areas out of drought.

How can I not go with Auston Matthews after he's cashed this play for us in two straight games? He's clearly on another level now that he's healthy, and his shooting percentage (40%) is among the league's best on the man advantage. When Matthews is shooting, he's hitting twine - he has four goals across his last three games as a result. Let's pot one more against this stingy Islanders defense. I'm loving William Nylander's shot volume right now, as the Leafs winger has registered at least three shots on goal in four consecutive games. He's averaging 6.5 shot attempts per contest, the 23rd-highest mark in the NHL, giving us plenty of reason to believe his hot streak can continue. With the Islanders playing an undisciplined brand of hockey, watch for Willy on the power play to drive us over the line.
