Credit: NovigIt's been several weeks since Sydney Sweeney wore nothing but sports balls for a new ad shining a spotlight on the sports betting company Novig. I don't think there's any question the ad worked to get the name Novig into peoples' minds. I had no idea what the betting platform was before the viral advertisement, but I certainly do now. Even days later, there are more and more people talking about Sweeney… but also about her ad. In fact, the new venture has been great business for Ms. Sweeney, who has marked a name for herself not only as an actress but also as an entrepreneur. She's reportedly learned a few tricks from beau Scooter Braun along the way, and she was the one who brought the partnership idea to Novig, and not the other way around. What happened next? The 58 second ad is extremely memorable. In it, Sweeney tries on a variety of sports equipment – and only sports equipment – while talking about the app, which is "just sports. " You can't bet on Sweeney's underwear color.

Dubois vs Wardley 2: Londoner retains title with dominant second-round stoppage - BBC

Daniel Dubois underlined his status as Britain's leading heavyweight with a devastating second-round stoppage of Fabio Wardley to retain his WBO title in London. The 29-year-old floored Wardley with a straight right inside the opening 20 seconds of their eagerly anticipated rematch at the O2 Arena and continued his relentless assault. Wardley survived the opening round but was overwhelmed by another sustained attack in the second, prompting his corner to throw in the towel. Dubois registers a second successive stoppage victory over Wardley, just five months after climbing off the canvas twice to dethrone his British rival in a thrilling 11-round contest in Manchester. This time, there was no such drama for the champion, who was dominant from the opening bell as he extended his professional record to 24 wins - 23 by knockout - and three defeats. "Fabio is a great boy, coming in for the second time, but it was my time and my era. I had my intentions, bad intentions from the beginning," Dubois said. "My back was against the wall the first time, this time we just had to go out there and show that we mean business, which is what we did tonight.

Eagles' Hurts going on IR after reported consultations with doctors - theScore

The Philadelphia Eagles placed quarterback Jalen Hurts on injured reserve, the team announced Saturday. The Eagles made the decision following consultations with doctors and experts that continued into Saturday, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Philadelphia initially did not plan to place Hurts on IR. Hurts was recently diagnosed with a superficial blood clot in his calf. He will remain sidelined for an indefinite period, sources told Schefter and Rapoport. An IR designation means the three-time Pro Bowler is required to miss at least four games before returning to the lineup. Hurts threw for eight touchdowns and 933 passing yards through his first five appearances this season. The Eagles started the season with two straight wins but have lost three in a row. Backup quarterback Tanner McKee will start Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. The Eagles also recently signed quarterback Joe Milton off the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad. Philadelphia is also dealing with injuries to Saquon Barkley and Will Shipley. However, star wideout DeVonta Smith is on track to return after being a full participant in Friday's practice.
