MNO seeking input from Métis-owned businesses on tariff impacts - Métis Nation of Ontario
The Métis Nation of Ontario is seeking input from Métis-owned businesses to better understand how U. S. tariffs, changing trade conditions, and broader economic uncertainty are affecting businesses across Ontario. The MNO’s Economic Development Branch has launched a short survey for MNO citizens who own or operate businesses in Ontario. The survey was developed following a request from Kathleen Anderson, PCMNO Economic Development Portfolio Holder, to better understand what Métis-owned businesses are experiencing and what supports may be needed. The survey asks business owners about the impacts they are currently experiencing, what they anticipate in the months ahead, and the types of support that would be most helpful. Businesses are invited to share whether they have experienced challenges such as increased costs, supply-chain disruptions, reduced sales or customer demand, difficulties accessing U. S. markets, workforce impacts, cash-flow pressures, or uncertainty when making business decisions.
