Jason van Vianen was the property’s live-in superintendent and is among those displaced by the city’s order to vacate. He says when he initially took over the building it was in relatively good shape, but a steady series of problems under three separate property management companies were not adequately addressed and conditions continued to deteriorate. Observations from the Orion capsuleOn April 6, the crew of Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen orbited the Moon for nearly seven hours, approaching its surface to a distance of about 6,400 kilometers. The 130-page report compiles the astronauts’ observations based on 814 gigabytes of photos, video and audio recordings made from the Orion capsule. One of the areas that drew the crew’s attention was the Aristarchus Plateau, an elevated region in the northwest of the Moon’s near side.
