Air Canada Embarq offers 50% more Aeroplan points for business trips - www.insideflyer.com
Air Canada launched Embarq on October 8, 2026, giving Canadian SMEs and nonprofits bonus points and fare discounts until December 10. Employees book via aircanada.com using personal Aeroplan accounts. The platform also provides free travel management tools with no minimum spend or fees. Eligible businesses must be registered in Canada and not have existing corporate agreements with Air Canada. Employees earn 50% extra points on eligible paid bookings made through the Business Travel option; elite members see diminishing returns. Exclusions include Economy Basic fares, group bookings, Flight Passes, and certain international routes. Companies also save up to 5% on base fares within North America, or fixed amounts internationally. Embarq functions as a no-cost alternative to third-party booking tools, offering centralized trip tracking and policy enforcement. It does not support multi-airline or hotel bookings, nor point redemptions. Air Canada may extend the launch bonuses beyond December 10, but no official announcement has been made. Businesses can sign up at embarq.aircanada.com with no upfront cost or commitment.
