There was reportedly tension between late Breaking Bad actor RJ Mitte and his fiancée Kennedy Suarez in the days leading up to his death by suicide. According to TMZ, the actor, 34, was given an ultimatum by Suarez shortly before his death. Suarez, sources told the outlet, felt Mitte's mother Dyna was too involved in their relationship and wanted him to choose between the two of them. The pair began dating in 2020, after being friends for 10 years. They later got engaged on October 10, 2025. Almost a year later, as In Touch previously reported, he committed suicide on Monday, October 12. Sources told TMZ that Suarez did not get along with Mitte's mother despite the actor being close with both his mom and sister, Lacianne, and he was unwilling to cut ties with the former. Mitte's relationship with Suarez was reportedly weighing heavily on him in the weeks before he died, with TMZ describing him as "outwardly distraught.
