Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Beaten three times - CBS Sports

Hart stopped 24 of 27 shots in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Wild. Minnesota's fourth goal was an empty-netter late in the third period. Hart endured a difficult opening period, allowing goals to Matt Boldy, Maxim Shabanov and Danila Yurov within a 5:07 span. The veteran netminder settled down afterward, keeping Minnesota off the scoreboard for the rest of his appearance, but the damage was already done, and the Wild clinched the victory with an empty-netter from Joel Eriksson Ek. This was Hart's second loss of the season, and the second time in five starts he's allowed more than two goals. The netminder is likely to be on the bench against the Predators on Tuesday in the second leg of a back-to-back set, but he could return to the starting lineup against the Flames on Thursday.

Guernsey break-in has 'real human impact' on small business - BBC

7 October 2026BBCMim Sarre said she wanted to thank everyone for their supportThe owner of an island food kiosk and pizza truck says her team is "shaken" after the business was targeted by criminals. Mim's World said an attempt was made to force entry into its kiosk at Cobo, Guernsey, in the early hours of Tuesday and their pizza truck was broken into with cash taken and oil poured inside the van. Guernsey Police said it was investigating and urging people with information to get in contact. Owner Mim Sarre said: "I'd just like to thank everybody for all their support... it's very, very endearing and we all really appreciate it. "In a post on social media, Mim's World said: "An amount of cash was stolen and for reasons we simply cannot understand, oil was then poured throughout the pizza truck, causing significant additional damage and disruption. "Thankfully, the kiosk remained secure, despite attempts to force open the hatch! " It added beyond the financial cost and damage, there was a very "real human impact". "We are shaken, and a little scared to be honest," the post said.
