As we go further into the 2026-27 season, the question remains: Will the Detroit Red Wings trade Dylan Larkin? Larkin’s name has been in headlines since June, when he was first asked for a trade from the only team he’s ever known. At first, he only asked to go to three teams – the Vegas Golden Knights, Florida Panthers and Minnesota Wild. He has since expanded that list to 8-9 teams. Yet, a trade has yet to be made, leading many to believe the former captain might have to expand his list of preferred destinations even more to make it happen, or else he’ll have to continue to play in Detroit.
