SUNRISE, Fla. - The Florida Panthers announced today the club will hold their fifth annual ‘Pink in the Rink’ night on Saturday, Oct. 17 in conjunction with Baptist Health Cancer Care and Promise Fund when the Panthers host the Seattle Kraken at 6 p.m. (ET) at Amerant Bank Arena. The night will honor those who have battled breast and cervical cancer and the medical professionals who work hard to treat and find a cure for the diseases. “This night and all events that bring attention and raise funds in the fight against cancer have deep personal meaning to me,” said President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Bill Zito. “We are proud to participate in our fifth annual Pink in the Rink celebration in Sunrise and I’m excited to see the continued impact of this event on such an important cause.”
