Hermès introduced the H08 collection in 2021 as a different take on the sporty-chic watch, first launched as a time-and-date series, then updated with a monopusher chronograph and, more recently, a skeleton model. The H08 stands out for its rounded square case, original Arabic numerals on the dial, and a mix of surfaces and materials that feels more considered than technical. Since then, the H08 has embraced titanium and ceramic, and in 2023 added references in a lightweight braided glass-fibre case coated with aluminium and slate powder, with concrete-grey dials and bright colour accents. The two latest editions keep the same recognisable silhouette and materials-led approach, bringing new colours.

These new H08 models retain their thin 39mm cushion-shaped case with softly rounded edges, measuring 10.6mm in height. The case is made from braided glass-fibre composite with an aluminium-coated surface, delivering a brighter colour than the previous slate-coated editions. The material’s interwoven structure gives it a distinctive appearance, while its lightweight construction suits the watch’s character.

Introducing: Hermès H08 Bleu de Malte And Blanc Chantilly - Hodinkee

Hermès brings two new colorways to the H08, alongside a brighter glass fibre case than we've seen before. Hermès has released two new versions of its H08 sports watch. It feels like the H08 has lived a lot of lives in the five years since it was originally released at Watches & Wonders 2021, and these latest releases bring yet another new look to a line that has expanded pretty steadily since then. Here, we have two new versions of the H08, each in a braided glass fiber composite case, but where previous watches that have used this material have coated it in a dark blend of aluminum and slate, with these new watches, Hermès has dropped the slate dust.

No V12 Required: Argentina's Mid-Engine Supercar Packs An American V8 Punch - CarBuzz

Classic gems, tasteful customs, legendary supercars - for Silvian, they're all fair game. He's been in love with cars and motorcycles for as long as he can remember, so it made perfect sense to eventually turn that passion into a full-time writing career. Around six years and more than 3,000 articles later, he is still going strong and doesn't plan on hitting the brakes anytime soon. Argentina is a country known for its natural beauty, soccer legends, and chainsaw-wielding president, but it probably isn’t the first place you’d expect a rad V8 supercar to be developed. However, that assumption might change once you learn about a company called Valtor, the brainchild of engineer-turned-CEO Sergio Arias. He leads a small but ambitious team of designers and engineers like himself, who’d previously caught people’s attention with the Azor GT concept last year. Now they’re back at it once again with the Eaglon, an evolution of the Azor and something that could easily be mistaken for a Ferrari by those who don’t know their automotive lore.
