Dostal will start at home against the Panthers on Sunday, according to Patrick Present of The Hockey News. Dostal picked up a win in his first appearance of the season Friday in Vegas, stopping 27 of 30 shots en route to a 4-3 win. The 26-year-old will face another tough opponent Sunday, but the Panthers will be missing Aleksander Barkov (knee), who was placed on long-term injured reserve Saturday. However, Florida will have Brad Marchand (lower body) making his 2026-27 debut Sunday in Anaheim.
