Sydney Sweeney’s R-Rated Thriller Sequel Officially Unveils First Look At New & Returning Major Characters - ScreenRant

Matthew Rudoy is one of ScreenRant's Movie & TV News Editors. He covers the latest in movie & TV news, with a focus on major franchises like Star Wars, The Boys, and Game of Thrones, and also writes some features and reviews. He wrote lists for ScreenRant from 2017-2022, became a news writer in 2023, a senior staff writer in 2024, and an editor in 2025. The official first look has arrived for The Housemaid's Secret. Sydney Sweeney played Millie Calloway in the R-rated thriller The Housemaid, based on Freida McFadden's novel of the same name. The movie became a major box office hit, grossing $400.5 million against a $35 million budget. This success led to the sequel The Housemaid's Secret, also based on one of McFadden's novels, being greenlit. It features Sweeney reprising the role of Millie, along with Paul Feig returning to direct. Lionsgate has now confirmed that filming is underway and provided a behind-the-scenes video featuring Sweeney mouthing "I've been waiting for this" on set as she goes to hug her new co-star Kirsten Dunst, followed by shots of Feig and newcomers Paul Anthony Kelly, Michele Morrone, Brittany Snow, and Stephen Kalyn dancing.

VisionQuest: All The New And Returning Marvel Characters, Explained - TVLine

After "Avengers: Endgame" and "Spider-Man: Far From Home" completed Marvel Studios' Infinity Saga in 2019, the next chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe officially kicked off in 2021 with the premiere of "WandaVision. " At the time, it wasn't clear just how integral Wanda Maximoff and The Vision would be to the Multiverse Saga. But now, five years later, we have "VisionQuest," the exciting conclusion to the story that carried us from the inaugural Marvel series on Disney+ to "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" and "Agatha All Along. " Since this is meant to be the final chapter of this tale of love, loss, and rebirth, many characters from around the MCU are returning for the series from "Star Trek: Picard" showrunner Terry Matalas. There are plenty more joining the shared universe in this show as well. So in an effort to get to know the key players and keep them all straight (since many of them reside in Vision's head), we will break down the new and returning characters in this highly anticipated series from the House of Ideas.

James Cameron congratulates Avengers: Endgame's box office success with bonkers image - A.V. Club

Marvel Studios’ release of Avengers: Endgame: Encore was a shrewd gambit for a few reasons: It put the studio’s most successful film back in conversation right after the juggernaut success of Spider-Man: Brand New Day; it tided die-hards over with new footage ahead of December’s Avengers: Doomsday; and, perhaps most importantly, it raked in an additional $138 million for the film, reinstating its position as the worldwide box office champion over James Cameron’s Avatar. Cameron, who certainly doesn’t spend his precious time fretting about such matters as lifetime financial grosses and being the best in the world at stuff, recently expressed his congratulations to Marvel for once again overtaking his 2009 sci-fi film. “You are one of the people,” the director wrote (per The Wrap) in a composite image from Avatar, with Iron Man at the center of a welcoming Na’vi tribe. “Congratulations to Marvel and the #1 Avengers: Endgame: Encore for bringing moviegoers to the cinemas! – Jim Cameron.”
