While Star Wars fans would love nothing more than for a project to be so well-received by everyone that it brings the Star Wars fanbase together for good, Lucasfilm president Dave Filoni has other plans with Ahsoka Season 2, as he recently admitted that he knows fans will be divided in how they view certain elements of the upcoming show. More than three years after the first season debuted, Disney+ subscribers and Star Wars fans will get the chance to watch Ahsoka Season 2 when it premieres on January 20, 2027. While Lucasfilm has tried to keep a lot of story elements under wraps, Filoni (who is also the show's creator, writer, and showrunner) is letting fans know that they may be divided on a certain topic. In a recent interview with Empire Magazine, Lucasfilm president and Ahsoka showrunner, writer, and creator Dave Filoni talked about the Disney+ show's upcoming installment, particularly noting that he understands the fanbase will be divided about the show's supernatural elements. Star Wars has never shied away from the supernatural and mysterious. After all, the Force itself is entirely rooted in a supernatural concept.

Johnny Depp and Paul Bettany 'Hadn't Spoken' in Years By Libel Trial - Variety

Paul Bettany opened up in a recent interview with The Times about the public’s misconception of his relationship with Johnny Depp after text messages between the two actors were used in court during Depp’s libel lawsuit against The Sun. “I hadn’t spoken to Johnny in years when that happened and I haven’t spoken to him since. I was being painted as this close friend of a guy I hadn’t spoken to in years and, honestly, amid all the shit two celebrities threw at each other, that bit was the most odd,” Paul told the publication.

The “toxic” 1980s actor Ron Howard and Jason Bateman both couldn’t stand working with - Far Out Magazine

Credit: Far Out / YouTube Still / Colleen Sturtevant Sat 17 October 2026 19:45, UK Since he’s always wanted to have a career like Ron Howard, it’s almost fitting that Jason Bateman worked with an actor neither of them could stand, and at around the same time, too. As a child actor who eventually segued into more adult roles, admittedly after a decade in the wilderness, before diversifying into directing, it makes perfect sense that Bateman views Howard as the blueprint, since few have managed to navigate that transition as successfully as the Happy Days veteran. If anything, it must have felt like kismet when they became collaborators on Arrested Development, allowing the star to tell the narrator and executive producer to his face that he’d spent his professional life dreaming of emulating his path from an on-camera nipper to a behind-the-camera force. One of the key lessons he took from Howard, as obvious as it sounds, was not to be a dick. Bateman had his demons, and he battled them successfully, but it was watching the two-time Academy Award winner’s kind, compassionate demeanour that convinced him if he ever made it back to the big time, he’d try to be a nice guy.
