Corteva completes spin-off of seed business Vylor - The Globe and Mail
Corteva ( (CTVA) ) has shared an update. On October 1, 2026, Corteva completed the previously announced separation of its seed operating segment into a standalone, publicly traded company, Vylor Inc., via a pro rata distribution of Vylor shares to Corteva shareholders of record as of September 24, 2026. As a result of this distribution, Vylor became an independent company whose common stock is expected to begin regular trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol VYLR on October 1, 2026. The separation marks a significant restructuring of Corteva’s portfolio by carving out its seed operations into a dedicated entity, potentially allowing each company to pursue more focused strategies and capital allocation tailored to their distinct markets. Investors and other stakeholders are expected to evaluate Vylor as a pure-play seed business, while Corteva’s remaining operations may realign around its other agricultural offerings, influencing competitive dynamics in the global agribusiness sector. The most recent analyst rating on (CTVA) stock is a Hold with a $90.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Corteva stock, see the CTVA Stock Forecast page.
