Six Flags man who died falling from rollercoaster was nearly killed weeks before - The Mirror US

Other passengers in the rollercoaster car reported locking eyes with the terrified Hassan as he fell from his seat and tumbled past them to his death04:36 ET, 15 Oct 2026A man who was killed in a horror rollercoaster accident had been nearly killed in a car crash just weeks before.‌‌Police raced to the scene at Six Flags Over Georgia after 911 calls reported that someone had fallen from the Goliath ride, one of the state's tallest roller coasters. Witnesses say the man, identified as Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem, 42, was on the ride with his stepson son as his stepdaughter and wife watched on from the ground. Hassan fell from his seat, striking the ride multiple times before landing on the roof of the haunted house below. The roller coaster's cameras, which typically capture exciting photos for visitors to purchase later, instead captured the moment the man fell backward across the ride.‌It has now been revealed that three weeks before his death, Hassan and his 10-year-old stepdaughter survived a car crash that left the vehicle damaged beyond repair. Miraculously, the two were unhurt, only for Hassan to die weeks later.
