2026 Fantasy Football Week 5 Defense (DST) Rankings and Streamers - NBC Sports
If you’re one of those people who believes that there’s no rhyme or reason to fantasy football defense scoring, and it’s all a matter of luck, then Week 4 was for you. Yes, the Vikings and Seahawks finished inside the top five, and I (and most everybody else) had them as the top two defenses. Yet, the New York Giants finished as the number one defense thanks to one play - the final play of the game. With Arizona taking the snap with the chance to take the lead on the final play of the game, Jacoby Brissett threw an interception in the end zone. That secured a win for the Giants, yet Deonte Banks took the pass down the sideline and brought it back 100 yards for a touchdown. That was an eight-point play for the Giants on the final play of the game, and it took their defense from six points (11th-best finish on the day) to 14 points and the top score. We also saw the Colts give up an 87-yard touchdown that was brought back on a questionable call, and that would have taken them out of the top 10 defenses as well. Even after the Commanders were forced to play their third-string quarterback.

The Streamers Tried To Conquer Labor Day…and Whiffed - The Entertainment Strategy Guy | Substack
(Welcome to my weekly streaming ratings report, the single best guide to what’s popular in streaming TV and what isn’t. I’m the Entertainment Strategy Guy, a former streaming executive who now analyzes business strategy in the entertainment industry. If you were forwarded this email, please subscribe to get these insights each week.)What? Another Streaming Ratings Report already? You betcha. Nielsen has moved up the release of their Streaming Ratings data by two weeks, which means I’ve got two extra issues to get out. But I love this change because it will make this report more timely and easier to publish regularly. This week—with the viewership data for the week of 31-Aug—we’ve got some huge, huge topics to discuss. On the film side, two theatrical films (The Mandalorian and Grogu on Disney+ and Scary Movie on Paramount+) contend with two non-Netflix straight-to-streaming films (Mayday on Apple TV and The Runner on Prime Video). The streamers went all in to win Labor Day weekend in America.

Lowry: ‘Conversations’ needed if Hellebuyck were to return to Jets - TSN
Winnipeg Jets captain Adam Lowry told reporters Saturday that the air will need to be cleared if Connor Hellebuyck is to return to the team after his suspension ends. Speaking to reporters following a narrow 3-2 loss to the defending champion Carolina Hurricanes, Lowry was asked about a report that indicated Hellebuyck’s suspension could end next Friday. He said there would need to be “conversations” should the star goaltender return to the Jets. “He’s a good friend of mine. Do I love the decision? Do I love the way it’s dragged on? No. But we’ll handle the situation when it comes. Obviously we’re disappointed with the outcome, he’s one of the best goalies in the world,” Lowry said. “It’s unfair to speculate on what’s going to happen between now until Friday. But I think if he does show up there’s going to have to be conversations, there’s going to have to be kind of one of those water under the bridge things. Like I said we keep moving forward, we’re a team regardless of who’s in the room.”Lowry also pointed out that things could change between now and a potential return to Winnipeg for Hellebuyck.
