Four Candidates Vie for Ottawa’s Kitchissippi Ward

Description

For the first time in 12 years, Kitchissippi Ward voters will elect a new city councillor, with four candidates seeking the open seat. Joanne Chianello, Brian Innes, Xavier Commerford and Subhir Uppal are campaigning as residents raise questions about transit, development, recreation and affordability. The ward recorded Ottawa’s highest voter turnout in the previous municipal election. CTV’s Leah Larocque speaks with candidates and residents ahead of Ottawa’s October 26 municipal election.
