Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney delivered remarks and pumped up the crowd at a "Forever Canadian" rally in Edmonton on Friday night. The prime minister is making a full-court press for Canadian unity in Alberta, urging voters to reject separation in Monday’s referendum. "We launched a year ago a new major projects office. It's headquartered in Alberta. It's making the decisions that will build this country new ports, new mines, new energy corridors, leading to half $1 trillion of new investment in Canada" And I want to talk about one of those, because I think it illustrates the power of both Alberta. But in Alberta, within a strong and united Canada," Carney said. The prime minister added, "We are the best. And we are getting better... Working together in the spirit of cooperation... Canada is building big again. Alberta is at the very heart of it." "Vote for Canada because it is our duty," Carney said amid a boisterous, cheering crowd.
